Features


Humans

  • If you're loading lucifer cannon or it’s already loaded, you can't switch to blaster
  • Special (passive) buildings: plank, crate, pillar, brick, flag, container (a strong wall) - these buildings do nothing, they're only for better building
  • A grenade makes a lot of smoke
  • Lucifer cannon, mass driver and lasgun were graphically changed and they have luminous parts. Better look of all buildings and weapons – copied from shiny trem and visual mode
  • The lucifer cannon missile was graphically changed (from wolfbrmod)
  • A new weapon was added: mine. It costs 400 credits and activation takes 3 seconds. It detonates if an alien's nearby
  • A new weapon was added: flare. It costs 100 credits and it shines for 30 second as soon as you eject it. It burns you a little if you step on it
  • Humans can be cured by construction kit (like buildings)
  • The sawdust was improved
  • Pulse rifle has second and third attack

Aliens

  • Special buildings: flag, tree, brick, bridge, flower, grass, reed, rock, tree. These buildings do nothing, they’re only for better building
  • The tree has a felling animation
  • A new active building was added: bamboo. It reflects lucifer cannon missiles and pulse rifle bullets
  • Barricades can be built on the ceiling
  • Passive buildings (all new buildings) explode as soon as they’re destroyed
  • If you hit an alien, pieces of it fall off
  • Aliens which can walk on walls can even walk on buildings and other objects (elevators, doors…)
  • Marauder can bounce off buildings and humans
  • A new active building was added: bush. If it’s destroyed, it will gas nearby humans, making them dizzy as if gassed by an advanced basilisk
  • You can build buildings on other buildings ‒ even horizontally ‒ but only buildings that can be regularly built on walls
  • Added new weapon: Acid bomb. Bomb is alien grenade, weaker than human grenade; it can be used only by Basilisk. Every basilisk have only one bomb per life and when is used, it costs one evo. (graphic by Iltavuo)

Common

  • Every player automatically gains evos/credits once per 2 minutes in a team. Spawned or not doesn't matter.
  • There is higher FPS in a room with lots of buildings (by Gimhael)
  • Every building except the armoury and the tree explodes when it's destroyed
  • The bubble-chat window is visible from a greater distance.
  • Long nicknames and names of rooms in a map are going to be clipped
  • The server shows what country a player is connecting from (by Quarko)
  • Every message (except PM) will be displayed above the owner's head. Bubble text respects basic chat colours. You can disable bubble-chat window by /cg_drawbubble 0. You can also zoom a bubble-chat window by /cg_bubblezoom "value"
  • Health bar above buildings
  • You can build on top of buildings.
  • You can’t deconstruct buildings in sudden death
  • If the current map isn't ATCS, it will switch to ATCS as soon as the current map ends. It will switch to ATCS if there is no player on the server
  • Above every player who is not ready to play (watching to the console, typing in chat, choosing what to build…) is displayed a smiley
  • Hovel can be built only once after sudden death
  • Buildings that have been built on walls are displayed correctly rotated
  • Votehax was fixed by Quarko
  • A new command for admins was added: "/team <team> safe" – you’re unable to join the team with more players
  • Spawn, booster, hovel, turret and repeater can be built on walls and ceilings
  • You can’t damage overmind (if alien) or reactor and repeater (if human) during sudden death
  • An Unnamed Player can’t build
  • Prefix [H] – (humans) and [A] (aliens) are coloured and displayed even in vote
  • Every vote is highlighted in the console
  • Vote named "admit defeat" was removed
  • You can call a vote for sudden death by the shorter version: "/callvote sd"
  • If you damage the overmind (if alien) or reactor (if human), your name will be shown.
  • You cannot destroy your team's last remaining telenode or egg.
  • If a player was killed, the HP of the attacker is shown to everyone
  • All notifications are coloured red (aliens) and blue (humans), for example if you join a team
  • If a team loses a spawn in sudden death, it will be shown to all
  • There is a sound when you're spawned.
  • Armageddon – It can be voted by: /callvote arma. It’s used instead of extreme SD or admit vote. It destroys all the active buildings and spawns.
    Only these buildings remain:
    Humans: reactor, armoury, medistation and passive buildings
    Aliens: overmind, passive buildings
  • A new command was added: /playsound NameOfSound. This command can be useful for map developers
  • If an admin is spectating, there are different sounds for when an alien or human is talking to his team
  • You can build in mid-air. The building will fall down
  • Every passive building has its own animation which is triggered by building or destroying it
